Family Recipe
Ahma’s Sambal is what in our opinion, best embodies the principle of ‘Last Meal’ - comforting and nostalgic. First originating in my family’s home kitchen in Kuching, East Malaysia - the recipe for Ahma’s Sambal was perfected by my mother over thirty years ago and has been a staple in my family’s kitchen ever since. At Last Meal, we consider this sambal an homage to the legacy of my family’s matriarch and an ode to the culinary memories she created.

With a texture somewhere between a chunky paste and an oil, Ahma’s Sambal is delightfully robust, packing a spicy, aromatic, umami punch. She’s has got a little OOOMPH baby!
